Pediatric Dentist
Pediatric Dentist (FT/ 40 hours per week). Serve as the treating Dentist (Pediatric) providing services including diagnosis, treatment planning , provision of care (fillings, crowns, etc), managing emergencies, coordination of referrals to necessary specialist; treatment of primary and adult dentition, construction and placement of appliances, provide preventive services through use of fluorides and sealants, instruct patients and family members on good oral hygiene instructions/proper diet. Manage and supervise the use of sedation dentistry services (inc administering meds, pulse ox, capnographs, nitrous oxide, and all necessary monitors); manage and direct on-site dental support staff such as dental assistants, hygienists, Expanded function Dental assistants (EFDA) and technicians. Position requires Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD,DDS); 24 months of post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry; Board Certification; 1 year of experience in the job offered; and current state licensure.
