About Dr. Kevin Choi
Dr. Choi obtained a B.A. in physics from Reed College and a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Columbia University, where he continued on to receive his doctoral training in dental medicine. After dental school he completed a fellowship program at Helen Hayes Hospital, a division of Columbia University focused on dental management of patients with special needs and compromised medical history, providing care both in clinical and hospital settings. He then received a two-year training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital located in Bronx, NY. He currently provides quarterly lectures to residents at Helen Hayes Hospital, updating them with latest trends and the standard of care in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Choi was born in South Korea but has lived in various places including Guam, Washington State, Oregon, New York, and New Jersey. He joined us in 2013 excited to bring his perspective and knowledge to our office, determined to provide optimal care to every child he sees. In his free time he enjoys reading a variety of genres in Korean and English, and works to improve his Spanish-speaking skill through daily practice with our patients.
